ATP History

Tennis has come a long way since "Open Tennis" began in 1968 and the ATP's been part of the storied history.

The 2016 season marked the 27th year the ATP had administered the worldwide circuit of men's professional tennis.

ATP TOUR INC.（國際職業網球聯合會）是男子職業網球巡迴賽管理機構——包括ATP World Tour (ATP世界巡迴賽)、ATP Challenger Tour (ATP挑戰賽)和ATP Champions Tour (ATP冠軍賽)。 ATP世界巡迴賽共擁有分別在32個國家舉辦的62項賽事，由世界頂級的男子運動員在全球最令人激動的賽場內進行比賽。從澳大利亞、歐洲到非洲，從北美、南美到亞洲，ATP世界巡迴賽的明星們為一系列享譽盛名的冠軍頭銜而戰，其中包括大滿貫賽事（非ATP成員）、ATP世界巡迴賽1000大師系列賽事、ATP世界巡迴賽500系列賽事和ATP世界巡迴賽250系列賽事。賽季末，根據選手們在ATP冠軍積分上的排名，排名前八的單打選手和雙打組合參加賽季頂級賽事——巴克萊ATP世界巡迴賽總決賽。
